EO Advisors Welcomes Nicolas Loenen as a new Senior Analyst
EO Advisors is excited to announce the appointment of Nicolas Loenen as a Senior Analyst of the firm. Nicolas will focus on deal execution and client support alongside the EO Advisors senior partnership. Nicolas brings with him a diverse background in large-cap corporate finance and accounting.
Prior to joining EO Advisors, Nicolas was a Lead Finance Analyst at GE Aerospace, a publicly-traded, world-leading provider of jet and turboprop engines and associated systems. Nicolas graduated from GE’s Financial Management Program (FMP), successfully completing roles in commercial finance, FP&A, and supply chain. Nicolas received several recognitions, including the FMP of the Rotation award as the top-performer among the 25+ member program for work supporting the Aftermarket Services division with forecasting and analysis on a $4bn+ P&L, reducing multi-million forecast variances, and managing calculation and reporting on a $30bn+ backlog. He also received recognition for work helping to create a financial maturity assessment and developing company-wide supply chain financial standards.
“Nicolas represents exactly what we are looking for in our Analyst and Associate program. He brings with him a deep understanding of financial analysis within highly-complex, international organizations,” said Brian Mihelic, Partner at EO Advisors. “The leadership he demonstrated during his tenure with GE will be invaluable as he helps to further build out our financial analysis and accounting function across the various EO practice groups. Nicolas will be an invaluable component of the growing EO organization.”
Nicolas earned his BS in Finance and Supply Chain Management from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. He graduated summa cum laude and received the senior scholastic award. During his time in Bloomington, he was actively involved with the Kelley Honors program, serving as a freshman mentor, and in various case competitions, including the National Undergraduate Supply Chain Case Competition.
Away from the office, Nicolas enjoys outdoor activities including kayaking and fishing, being the world’s best uncle, and supporting various sports teams in the US and in his native Canada.
“I am excited to join the EO Advisors team and support their vision of partnering with entrepreneurs and business owners to assist in realizing their ultimate transactions goals. I look forward to supporting the broader team as we continue to build on the EO story.”
